Friday the 13th is a big deal around here, as it should be everywhere. Of course, you can’t honor the day without indulging in the slasher movie franchise named for the deliciously spooky day. I’m hoping to watch one of my favorites of the sequels, The Final Chapter (1984)—which was anything but the actual final chapter!

In honor of the year’s first (of two!) Friyay-13, here’s a handy guide to the previous times I’ve written about Friday the 13th here. I hope to write more, as the series and its mythology have provided me endless entertainment for decades now, since my earliest days of my horror fandom.
