First, a brief note to warn the wanton daredevils among us who read this blog during work hours: As you might expect from seeing “Playboy” in the title, this post is definitely NSFW.
At the height of her Late Night Goddess status, as Friday night host of USA Up All Night, Rhonda Shear posed for a very memorable pictorial in the October 1993 issue of Playboy. Simply put, the resulting photos did not disappoint. Rhonda brought her (T&)A game, and then some. Week after week on Up All Night Rhonda teased cable viewers with the tightest, skimpiest, sexiest outfits to whip our libidos into a frenzy, so her Playboy spread obviously sent us all into apoplectic shock.
Like legions of rabid fans, I picked up a copy as soon as I found out about it, thanks to an episode of Up All Night. Hosting the episode from outside the Playboy Mansion, and holding a copy of the new issue, Rhonda tantalizingly teased of her appearance within its pages. Fanboys lost their collective minds.
Rhonda’s pictorial certainly didn’t disappoint. Sadly, that copy of Playboy is long gone and I’ve no clue when it up and disappeared. Argh. Life. Thankfully, I do still own my complete collection of Rhonda’s “Up All Night” trading cards, and one of these days I’ll showcase those here for Late Night Memories. In the meantime, revel in Rhonda’s INSANELY sexy body, on full, beautiful display for Playboy in ‘93.in all seriousness, these really are some of the hottest photos I’ve ever seen, before or since.
