There’s a funny moment in the Marvel series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law where Gina Gonzaga’s character Nikki sends a “thirst trap with a bunch of books” selfie to another character. While we never actually see the picture on the show, the very game and gorgeous Gonzaga has taken this idea and run with it ever since, posting a series of thirst traps with books to her social media. It’s become a semi-regular event on her pages, with Gina usually decked out in a sexy outfit while posing with a stack of books she’s currently reading. She’s an avid reader and engages with commenters about the books, plus she looks absolutely jaw dropping. Back on Christmas, she posted these thirst trap pics of her wearing a sheer top and silky smooth black nylons and my jaw hit the floor. The smelling salts were needed to revive me. To a book nerd, there’s little that’s sexier than another book nerd who also happens to be a total babe. Yowza!
Gina’s fun, flirty style is absurdly appealing, and after loving her work in She-Hulk, I’ll watch her in most anything. The fact that she took a small character moment and uses it to playfully engage with followers is cool—and super hot. Social media sucks, but I stay on Instagram for people like Gina Gonzaga.
The only complaint I’d like to register with Gina is this: We need MORE posts featuring thirst traps with a bunch of books. Like, weekly, maybe? Oh hell, how about every single day, Gina? Can you make that happen? Many of us would be awfully grateful if you could.
