Bad Girls We Love: Suzanne from Night of the Demons

In which Scream Queen Linnea Quigley delivers one of her all-time best, and sexiest, performances.

Our first glimpse of airhead sexpot Suzanne in the 1988 cult horror film Night of the Demons is of her bodacious backside. Bent over in a skirt to expose her thong-panty-covered ass, she presents an absurdly memorable first impression. The camera lingers lovingly on her glorious gluteus maximus as it slowly sways back and forth. It’s an absolutely mesmerizing introduction.

Suzanne is distracting the sales clerks with that always-successful tactic used by sluts for millennia because her friend Angela is just looting the store. The girls are stocking up for a Halloween party with their friends at an old funeral parlor. Angela’s bright idea to lead a seance at said party results in a demon freeing itself from beyond and taking possession of our lovable slut Suzanne.

Later, Suzanne forcefully kisses Angela to transfer some of the demonic joy into her as well. Angela then goes on to be the film’s main baddie, and to star as the demon in two more sequels. We’ll devote a post to her one day, but for today we’re all about lovable slut Suzanne. Thanks to an unwanted demonic possession, Suzanne transforms from that lovable slut into a batshit crazy, demented lunatic slut. Her behavior while possessed is primo Bad Girl material.

In the annals of Linnea’s greatest moments on film, her introduction in Night of the Demons has to rank right near the top, alongside her topless graveyard dance in The Return of the Living Dead (1985) and her topless death-by-antler-impalement in Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984). Night of the Demons has several iconic Linnea moments though, including when she theatrically rips open her dress to expose her breasts. That’s a very Linnea thing to do. Then there’s the infamous lipstick scene that follows. Suffice it to say, you’ll never not think of that scene and cringe whenever you see a tube of lipstick for the rest of your life.
