I adore Mike Nichols’ Wolf (1994), but every time I watch it—and I try to watch it every October—I’m utterly gobsmacked that he got Michelle Pfeiffer to film that completely bonkers final showdown. As good guy Wolfman Jack (Nicholson) looks on from inside a cage, bad guy Wolfman James Spader uses his hairy paws to repeatedly attack, maul, grope, and hump Michelle Pfeiffer. It’s all set in glorious slow motion, an outrageous spectacle that I watch with my jaw hanging down every time.
Michelle’s Laura Alden is a tough cookie, so she puts up a helluva fight. Spader is super creepy and Michelle acts the living hell out of it all. Also, and it probably goes without saying, but she looks smoking hot throughout. When doesn’t she, though?
Pardon the glare on these, I snapped them fast while watching the film. And I don’t normally include this many shots in a Hot Shots post, but it’s Michelle Pfeiffer so, ya know. Yeah. *swoon*
