I promised a Julie London bonus track and today I’m delivering with the final song off Calendar Song, “The Thirteenth Month.” After tantalizing us with her smooth, sensuous voice, month after month for an entire calendar year, Julie sings us one last torch song for 2023, about the mythical “month of remember.”
What a pleasure it’s been to spend all year with that voice! Goodness gracious, I really could listen to Julie sing the phone book and find it to be a religious experience. She stirs things in listeners, and I imagine those of you who followed these posts are good and stirred up by now. Julie has that effect on people.
I’m sad to stop spending every month with Julie here, but I’ll continue to bliss out to her music and hope that you will too.
