Heather Thomas Tuesday

Historically, Tuesdays have been a slow posting day here at the Starfire Lounge. There’s no particular reason for this, so in order to give Tuesday a little shine, we’re introducing a little somethin’ we’ll call Heather Thomas Tuesdays. It’ll be exactly what the name implies: Heather Thomas will grace the Lounge’s stage every Tuesday—when possible, of course. As with every prooosed commitment here, I reserve the right to fail miserably at sticking to it.* For now though, here’s star of The Fall Guy and ultimate ‘80s poster girl, Heather Thomas. As ‘80s legends go, she’s one of the best and most beloved—just look online anywhere whenever someone posts her pictures. The crowd goes wild, especially the Gen X section. This inaugural post kicks things off with one of Heather’s classic poster shots. Obviously, chances are good that several of those poster images will pop up here on Heather Thomas Tuesdays.

Pretty in pink: Heather’s ‘80s posters are legit FIRE.

*As noted back in June, feeding the blogging beast is wearing your humble blogger down a bit lately. So, why start another weekly series? Because it just sounds fun, and I’m a sucker for fun. These Heather posts will be brief, basically just a single picture, maybe some context, definitely some fawning praise for Ms. Thomas’s scorching hot All-American ‘80s babe credentials. We’re taking minimal maintenance. And, it’s likely I will miss some weeks, or maybe several weeks and months, but that’s okay. Life goes on.

  1. Michael, I too love Heather Thomas a lot and this is one of my favorite pictures of her 🙂 Heather Thomas is beautiful all the time, but especially in water like in the poster 🙂 So when will you return with new blog entries after this one? I too am taking summer off from blogging, but I will return in September 🙂 What about you? 🙂

    1. No plan to take a definite break, but I keep wanting to slow down and post less. It’s begun to wear me out, so I think a slow-down might help recharge my batteries. We shall see.
