I mixed up my first Tequila Sunrise of the spring season a few weeks ago. Yum. Sipping on the appealing orange and red gradations formed when mixing tequila, orange juice, and grenadine always brings to mind the film of the same name, Robert Townes’ 1988 neo-noir masterpiece Tequila Sunrise. And of course, when I think of Tequila Sunrise I automatically think about Michelle as gorgeous restaurateur Jo Ann (Giovanna) Vallenari and of her establishment’s most famous dish, rigatoni quattro formaggi.

And then, as you might imagine, and just like that, I’m ridiculously hungry. And not just for the rigatoni quattro formaggi, if you know what I mean, and I think you do.

I’d devour that dish, with or without the cheese.

Mouthwatering! The food doesn’t sound bad too.
