While I would normally advise against covering up Michelle Pfeiffer’s mesmerizing baby blues, there’s no denying she looked pretty rad in these sunglasses, which she wore as Elvira Hancock in Scarface (1983).
Michelle looks positively delectable in this glamorous ensemble. If the white jacket/slit-skirt combo is the sundae, then the shades are the cherry on top. The sunglasses enhance Elvira’s icy, yet sexy, indifference, which is a huge part of why she’s such a desirable character. Like Tony Montana, we want to break down Elvira’s defenses and make her ours. Of course, she has different ideas.
National Sunglasses Day happened last week on the 27th, so you have that to thank for this glorious post of Michelle rocking sensational shades and looking both cool as the other side of the pillow and volcanically hot at the same time.
Her future’s so bright, she’s gotta wear shades.
Elvira is not amused by our lame attempts at humor.
Just like Tony, we’re constantly ogling Elvira.
Always chasing the unattainable. Tony did eventually hook Elvira, but not forever. Notably, she is the only main character in his circle who made it out of the film alive, one of many reasons why she’s one of the ultimate iconic Michelle characters.
