Bad Girls We Love: Regina “Reggie” Holland in Silk Stalkings

In which actress (and total smoke show) Carol Huston steals our hearts in a memorably sexy guest spot on a beloved nineties television series.

If I could travel back in time to 1992, I’d tell my teenage self that he’d still be obsessing over this woman thirty-odd years later, and he’d reply, “Well, DUH! Of course I will be!”

Silk Stalkings was one of my late night staples during the early to mid-nineties, right up there with USA Up All Night and MonsterVision. I absolutely loved it. It was basically an erotic thriller series filled wall to wall with luscious ladies in silk stockings and fuck-me pumps. What’s not to love?? I’m working on a “Late Night Memories” post devoted to the series, but here’s a scorching hot amuse-bouch to tide you over until then.

If that skirt were any shorter it would be a cummerbund. Yowza!

Today I’m narrowing in on the season two episode, “Wild Card.” From 1992, this one was particularly memorable, largely due to the spectacularly leggy and bodaciously busty guest star Carol Huston. She’s an absolute vision of pure sexual charisma in this episode! A knockout in a titillatingly tight micro-miniskirt and high heels, Huston is impossible to ignore. Her character Regina “Reggie” Holland is a sassy and smart-talking skip tracer looking for a missing person, which brings her into contact—and conflict—with our star Palm Beach, Florida detectives Rita Lance (Mitzi Kapture) and Chris Lorenzo (Rob Estes). Reggie and Sgt. Lorenzo quickly develop a highly flirtatious and sexually charged banter that carries through the rest of the episode. Things get steamy! Will they or won’t they? You have to watch to find out.

Why yes, I have rewound, paused, and rewatched this moment ad infinitum, why ever do you ask? Ahem.

Reggie is appealingly sassy—her smirking sarcasm is beautiful to behold—and effortlessly seductive—her Elvira-level body is beautiful to behold. Most words just sound sexier coming out of Houston’s mouth in this episode than those same words sound coming out of anyone else’s mouth, quite frankly, plus she looks absolutely smoking hot whether she’s saying words or not saying words. She’s gorgeous, funny, tough, and did I mention she possesses a slammin’ body and legs that go all the way up? Chris Lorenzo certainly noticed!

Not only is Chris faced with Mega Babe Reggie, but also his partner Rita showing off a set of gams that should be illegal! You best believe we’ll be addressing Mitzi Kapture’s hotness (and Rob Estes’s, for that matter) in a future Silk Stalkings post.

Huston and Estes have great chemistry together. Their sexy talk is ridiculously hot. It’s no Lorenzo falls so hard for Reggie. The woman has the sort of Bad Girl seductive powers that are simply too great to withstand. Normally I’d delve into this more, but I don’t want to spoil the plot twist, except to say Reggie is a Bad Girl in more ways than just the “flaunting her perfect body and talking dirty” variety.

Reggie was such a great character. I wish we’d gotten a spinoff for Huston so we could spend more time in Reggie’s company! A total babe, a total badass, and Huston pulled it off with such flare and moxie that I also wish she’d had a bigger career. She was a steady, working actor for two decades before becoming a Los Angeles real estate agent and starting her own company. But man, she was so charismatic as Reggie that the mind reels at the possibilities of her getting to play a character like Reggie full time. Ah well, I can dream.
