I’ve got a pfever, and the only prescription is more Pfeiffer.
In honor of tonight’s full harvest moon glowing orange in the night sky, I’m watching Wolf (1994) again for the umpteenth time. An annual October watch for me, Wolf is obviously also tailor-made for full moon viewing. You’ve heard of full moon fever? Well, watching Michelle Pfeiffer dominate the proceedings in Wolf as the charismatic Laura Alden during a full moon is indeed pfever inducing.
In a film full of iconic moments for Michelle, the final scene, with Laura dressed in form-fitting black and looking mischievous, delicious, and absolutely ravishing, is the sort of autumnal full moon vibe I’m looking for right now. Yum.
