As much as I love doing the Random Image posts, they can take a bit of time to put together. I was trying to think of alternatives when I remembered one of my favorite cult movie sites Cinema Retro runs a semi-regular feature called, amusingly, “Gratuitously Sexy Photos of the Week.” So, in the spirit of Cinema Retro, may I introduce you to “Hot Shots of the Week,” which are exactly what it says in the title: hot images that’ll make you smile, swoon, or otherwise feel something. Define hot any way you like, and that’s what we mean here—these shots might be sexy, or they might just be so cool that they’re actually hot. Some posts might include more than one image too, but they won’t grow to be the size of the Random Image posts. And never fear: I don’t have any plans to stop those larger photo and art dumps—I’ll still be dropping them on ya from time to time. In fact, I have a few more in the queue right now.
