Jack Tripper (John Ritter) was never wanting for beautiful roommates on Three’s Company, that’s for sure. Chrissy Snow (Suzanne Somers) was the hot and ditzy blonde. Cindy Snow (Jenilee Harrison) was no slouch in the hot blonde bimbo category either. Then there was brainy blonde Terri Alden (Priscilla Barnes), an absolute knockout and, truthfully, the most beautiful of all the roommates. Yet the only brunette to reside in the Santa Monica apartment—alongside Jack for the entirety of the show’s run—was also Three’s Company’s not-so-secret weapon. Janet Wood (Joyce Dewitt) was the stealth sexpot with mesmerizing eyes and hypnotic thighs, all of which were to die for. With luscious legs like Joyce Dewitt’s, it’s no surprise the roomie with the body that wouldn’t quit landed a sponsorship deal with the pantyhose brand L’eggs. Simply put, Joyce Dewitt was a total smokeshow.

My high school German teacher not only looked a lot like DeWitt both in her face and her body — she also wore the exact same style slit skirts regularly to class. She had a red one, a white one, a green one and a gray one — interestingly no blue. I guess DeWitt got that one! Whether Frau Hoffman was standing at the chalkboard or sitting on her desk in front of the class she always brought us to full attention. Danke, Liz, und deine tollen Beine! Wow, if that had been my teacher I would’ve been in seventh heaven, too! I had a kindergarten teacher who looked a bit like Joyce DeWitt, especially her face and hair (the curly hair Joyce had on the early seasons). My memory is that she often wore long skirts though, but I bet she had killer legs, too!
