As animated babes go, Janine Melnitz from the 1986–1991 series The Real Ghostbusters is pretty babelicious. The show is beloved to a generation raised on the boob tube and Janine is a fan favorite, so it’s no surprise cosplayers have loved brining her quirky, hot-girl-in-glasses aesthetic to life over the years.
Janine’s animated form was of course based on Annie Potts, who played her in the original Ghostbusters movies. The animators had some fun enhancing Annie’s natural charisma, creating an animated version that leans into the character’s sexy, spunky, smart-girl vibes. This talented cosplayer, Jannet Vinogradov does a bang-up job bringing that animated version of Janine to vibrant, three-dimensional life.
