Rejoice! It’s Michelle Pfeiffer’s birthday again! She’s the reason this blog exists, the inspiration for much of my writing on film for all these years.
Today, I’m celebrating La Pfeiffer’s latest trip around the sun with a handful of vintage, and astonishingly gorgeous, black and white photos.
Has anyone ever looked as effortlessly photogenic as our Queen and Savior Michelle does in shot after shot, throughout her illustrious career in film and television? I’m hard-pressed to think of anyone who can touch her in that department—she is simply stunning, always. Ravishing natural beauty and enormous talent as an actress combined in the form of one human being. It’s really unfair, isn’t it? If Michelle is the result of unfair then I don’t want to be fair. Have mercy—and happy 68th birthday, Michelle!
