Power Girl made her debut in All Star Comics #58, issue date January/February 1976. Created by Gerry Conway, Ric Estrada, and Wally Wood, the DC Comics superheroine is the Earth-Two counterpart of our Earth’s Supergirl. That means she is also Superman’s cousin (but Superman of Earth-Two) and has all the classic Kryptonian powers: super strength; flight; super speed; invulnerability; x-ray, telescopic, microscopic, and heat vision; freeze breath; and super hearing. Shes a mainstay of the DC Universe, going on fifty years now. She’s a great character with a distinctive personality.

Power Girl is also memorable for two other reasons, of course. Those two reasons, you ask? Well, look no further:

Power Girl’s infamous “boob window” costume, which she’s worn for quite a bit of her existence, has long offered artists a chance to, shall we say, indulge their inner pervert when it comes to drawing Power Girl’s ever-massive cleavage. There’s a story where her co-creator Wally Wood kept drawing her heaving bosom a little bit larger very issue to see if she editorial noticed, until her breasts became the knockout knockers known and loved by comics fans across the world. That story is probably apocryphal, but it’s funny and only enhanced Power Girl’s legendary status as DC’s undisputed Queen of Cleavage.

I’ve always loved the character—and not just for her ginormous rack, honest!—so it was pretty cooo back in 2011 to tune in to G4’s Attack of the Show (blast from the past, nerds!) and find smoking hot cohost Carrie Keagan absolutely rocking a Power Girl costume. I was an occasional viewer of the show, but in that moment I couldn’t believe I’d never realized she’d make such a fantastic Power Girl!

Not only did Keegan regularly wear her hair in a very Power Girl-style bob, but she also just so happened to have very Power Girl-style breasts, too. She filled out the costume’s iconic “boob window” magnificently. She was born to squeeze her boobs inside of that window! And, to top it all off, she even engaged in some light pole dancing just to drive us all completely insane.

Whatever producer over at G4 had the brilliant idea to squeeze the busty and curvaceous Carrie Keagan’s plentiful assets into a Powet Girl costume deserved a huge raise—I mean, beyond the raise Keagan gave us all in that outfit, if you know what I mean, and I think you do.

Always loved Power Girl for two big reasons.
