Hot Shots of the Week: Hello Nurse!

Actress Lee Meredith was born Judith Lee Sauls in River Edge, New Jersey, in 1947. After growing up in Fair Lawn, NJ, the statuesque and buxom beauty became a dancer, model, and studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her most famous role is the sexy Swedish secretary Ulla in Mel Brooks’ The Producers (1967). In the early 1970s, she played a sexy nurse on Broadway in Neil Simon’s two-act play, The Sunshine Boys, a role she later reprised in the 1975 film adaptation. Here are some very hot shots of the blonde bombshell onstage for the 1973 production. In the long and glorious tradition of the “hot nurse” trope, few have ever done it as well as Lee Meredith.
