Long Island born Davenie Johanna “Joey” Heatherton is a singer, dancer, actress and, above all else, a true sex symbol. Her IMDb bio refers to the bodacious babe as “pneumatic” and that ain’t lying. Heatherton’s film and music careers never quite reached the dizzying heights of her pure sexbomb status, but that’s okay; Joey Heatherton knew she was a sex symbol at a time when that moniker meant something, and during her heyday she worked her toned ass off to be the very epitome of a ‘60s bombshell.
Heck, even after her heyday she was still workin’ it. In 1997, at age 53, well after she was out of the spotlight, Heatherton posed for Playboy. To say her photoshoot put much, much younger women to shame would be a gross understatement. In fact, Joey simply obliterated the competition. She radiates sex in these shots.
